Privacy Policy
Nision turns a photo you upload into a short AI-generated video. This policy explains what we collect to do that, who we send it to, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.
Information we collect
Account and sign-in
You create an account by signing in with Apple or Google. If you use Sign in with Apple, we request your name and email address as part of that sign-in. If you use Google Sign-In, Google provides an identity token that we use to create and authenticate your account. We keep one profile record per account: your language preference, your notification preferences, the date you accepted the third-party AI-processing consent described below, and your current credit balance and subscription status.
The photo you upload and the video we produce
Each time you generate a video we store: the photo or photos you upload, any text or details you type into the template's form, which template you used, and the video produced from them. We keep the job's status — queued, processing, ready, failed, or expired — so the app can show you progress.
Purchases and credits
Subscriptions and one-time credit packs are billed by the App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We do not receive your card details; those are handled entirely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We keep a record of each change to your credit balance — a purchase, a weekly grant, an expiry, a spend, or a refund — together with the store's transaction reference, so we can reconcile your balance.
Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we store your device's push token and platform (iOS or Android) so we can notify you when a video finishes or your credits renew.
Content reports
If you flag a video delivered to you as disturbing, we record which job you reported, your account, and when. Nothing else is recorded. Only Nision's operator can see this record; no other user can.
How your photo becomes a video
To generate your video, we send your uploaded photo or photos to Fal AI, our video-generation provider, based in the United States. Fal AI receives the photo only for as long as it takes to produce your video, and does not use it to train its models. Before your first generation, the app shows you a consent screen naming Fal AI and asks you to accept before anything is uploaded. We create a temporary link to your photo so Fal AI can retrieve it directly; that link stops working after one hour.
Where your data is stored
Your account data, job records, and files are stored with Supabase, our backend provider, hosted in the United States.
Retention and deletion
Automatic deletion after 30 days
Once a video has been ready for 30 days, we automatically delete both the input photo(s) and the output video from storage and mark the job expired. The record that a job existed stays in your account history so you can see it and try the effect again, but the media itself is gone.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. This is immediate and cannot be undone. Deleting your account:
- fails any video that was still being generated;
- permanently deletes every photo and video you uploaded or generated;
- deletes your account together with your profile, job history, credit history, and push notification token.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. You cancel that separately through the App Store or Google Play; the in-app deletion screen links you to your store's subscription settings.
AI-generated content labeling
Every video we produce carries a small, machine-readable label embedded in the video file itself: an industry-standard tag stating it was produced by AI, the tool that made it, and the date it was created. This label contains no user ID, job ID, or prompt — it is safe to share the video anywhere.
Analytics
Nision does not currently use any analytics or tracking software. If we add one, it will only ever receive: an anonymous account identifier, the template you used, its category, its credit cost, the job's status and duration, an error class if it failed, your platform, your app version, and your language. It will never receive your photos, any text you typed, your email, your name, or your IP address.
Cookies and tracking on this site
This page uses no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts. The only resource it loads besides its own stylesheet is your browser's normal request for this page.
Children
Nision is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nision, or the higher age of digital consent set by your country's law (16 in some EU member states). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Photo and video deletion, and full account deletion, are available directly in the app. For anything else — including objecting to how we process your data — email emirtopaloglu081@gmail.com and we will respond.
