Terms of Service
Who we are and what Nision is
Nision is a mobile app that turns a photo you upload into a short AI-generated video, using a library of templates ("effects"). These Terms govern your use of the app. Nision is operated by Emir Osman Topaloğlu, an individual developer based in Türkiye.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nision. If the minimum age of digital consent in your country is higher than 13, you must meet that higher age, or have a parent or guardian's consent, before using the service.
Your account and sign-in
You need an account to generate a video. You sign in with your Apple ID or your Google account; Nision does not offer a separate email-and-password sign-in. You're responsible for keeping that Apple or Google account secure, since it's how you access Nision and everything in it.
What you upload, and the licence you grant us
By uploading a photo, you grant Nision a limited licence to copy and process that photo, and to send it to our third-party AI video-generation provider (Fal AI, based in the United States), solely to produce the video you asked for. It is not used for any other purpose and is not sent anywhere else.
You confirm that: you own the photo or otherwise have the right to use it; if it shows a real person other than you, that person has consented to appear in a Nision video; and you will not upload a photo of anyone who has not given that consent. See our Acceptable Use Policy for what this rules out.
Ownership of your video
The video Nision generates for you is yours to keep, download and share, subject to your obligations under the Acceptable Use Policy and to the rights of anyone depicted in it. Every video Nision delivers is generated by artificial intelligence, and each file carries a machine-readable tag identifying it as AI-generated media, consistent with the EU AI Act's labelling rules for synthetic media. Most players ignore this tag, but it remains present in the file.
Credits and how they're spent
Generating a video costs a number of credits, set per effect. If we accept your request but the video isn't produced, the credit is returned to your balance — see the exception below.
Credits included in your weekly subscription are for that week: any of them left unused do not carry over into the next week, and each renewal starts your allowance fresh. Credits bought in a one-time pack do not expire — they stay on your balance until you spend them.
Subscriptions and credit packs
Nision offers one auto-renewing subscription and three one-time credit packs, billed through the App Store or Google Play, whichever store account you're signed in with:
| Product | Billing | Price (US) | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly subscription | Auto-renewing, weekly | $6.99 | 30 credits/week |
| Credit pack S | One-time | $3.99 | 15 credits |
| Credit pack M | One-time | $9.99 | 40 credits |
| Credit pack L | One-time | $22.99 | 100 credits |
Prices shown are for the United States; Apple and Google set the price shown to you in other regions. You can cancel the subscription at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — it stays active until the end of the current weekly period. If you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device, "Restore purchases" on the paywall screen restores your subscription and does not create an additional charge.
All purchases and any refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by Nision directly. We never see or store your card details, we do not charge your card ourselves, and we cannot process a refund directly — a refund request goes through the App Store or Google Play under their own policies.
Subscription credit allowance
The number of credits included in your weekly subscription is set by the subscription plan you are subscribed to at the time you subscribe. We may change the credit allowance offered to new subscribers at any time. If we do, the change applies only to new subscription plans going forward — the credit allowance of your current, already-active subscription will never be lowered while you remain subscribed to it. To receive a different allowance, you would need to cancel and subscribe to the new plan.
Refunds and the content-policy exception
If a video we attempt to generate for you is not produced, the credit you spent is returned to your balance. The one exception: if the photo you submitted is rejected for violating our content policy, the credit is not refunded. This exception exists because we cannot always confirm a rejection was in error, and is applied automatically at the time of rejection.
Changes to the service during your subscription
The credit allowance above is already protected: it cannot be lowered on your current subscription. What this section covers is the rest of the service — which effects are in the gallery, how long a finished video stays available, and what a credit buys.
We may change the Nision service while your subscription is running — for example, adding, changing or removing effects from the gallery, or changing how many credits a particular effect costs. We only do this for one of these reasons: to add or improve features; to keep the service working with the third-party AI providers that generate the videos, whose models and prices change; to comply with the law or with the app store rules; or to protect the security of the service or of our users. Any such change is at no additional cost to you.
We will not, during your current subscription period, shorten how long your finished videos stay available for download, or remove an effect that is in the gallery for that period. A change of that kind, if we make one, only takes effect from your next renewal onward.
More generally, any change to the service that would affect your access to it or your ability to use it by more than a minor degree takes effect only from your next renewal onward, never during a period you have already paid for. You may end your subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings — on a weekly, auto-renewing plan this simply means not renewing. Any refund for the unused part of a period you've already paid for is requested through the App Store or Google Play under their own policies; we cannot issue it directly.
This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.
Retention and account deletion
The photo you upload and the video generated from it are both kept for 30 days after generation, then deleted.
You can delete your Nision account at any time from Settings; deletion is a two-step, immediate action inside the app. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it separately from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, or it will continue to renew and charge you.
Prohibited use
You may not use Nision to do anything that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Nision if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, including repeated content-policy rejections. If we do, an active subscription is not cancelled automatically — cancel it separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Nision is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty that a video will be produced error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Nision is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the law requires it, give you additional notice. Continuing to use Nision after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Türkiye. Nision is operated by Emir Osman Topaloğlu, an individual developer based in Türkiye. Contact us at emirtopaloglu081@gmail.com.
